Swedish company Nobina is the Nordic region’s largest and most experienced public transport service providers. Every day, Nobina ensures that more than 1 million people get to work, school or other activities by delivering contracted public transport in Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark.
Nobina is an established company within its arena, but its name is not widely known. In late 2014, the company was preparing the company for a possible IPO. The global capital market was now a prioritized audience for corporate communication. The challenge for Intellecta Corporate was to communicate the complex business model and public offering in order to attract investor interest.
Step one entailed revisiting Nobina’s core and redefining the brand from an investor perspective. We ran a workshop with Nobina to find key messages for the entire IPO process. This gave other parties such as investment banks and legal advisory teams a foundation to build the investment case and equity story. We then worked closely with Nobina’s group management, leading the investor relations communication throughout the IPO process.
The key to a successful IPO is a combination of strong processes, creative thinking and effective project management. Intellecta Corporate played a key role in the initial message strategy and coordinating a large number of parties active in the IR-communication. As of June 2015, Nobina is a public listed company on NASDAQ Stockholm. Intellecta Corporate and Nobina still work closely together in continuously strengthening investor relations and corporate communications.
