Kemira is a global chemicals company serving customers in water-intensive industries such as pulp and paper. Recently the company acquired Akzo Nobel’s paper chemicals business, giving it a more comprehensive product offering and a strengthened global presence.
Kemira chose Hilanders to help launch the new company. Hilanders developed an international campaign with the theme “Some Bonds are Naturally Stronger”.
The task was to communicate the acquisition and emphasize Kemira’s new strengths. It was important to create impact, but also to reassure customers that the changes would bring positive effects without disruption to their business.
The digitally focused campaign includes a new website, ads, banners and film. The film creates an animated world of paper to illustrate Kemira’s enhanced capabilities and commitment to the future of the paper industry
It has just been confirmed that the film will be an award-winner in the 6th Cannes Corporate Media & TV Awards 2015. Watch this space for the full result in late October!
