A new Swedish social game based on your own Instagram photos.

Intellecta-owned River/ISBIT GAMES follows up on its earlier success with the game First Person Lover for Björn Borg with a new game launch. Clashtag – a new social game developed by ISBIT in collaboration with Deep Silver FISHLABS is launched for iOS- och Android- powered smartphones in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland.

ISBIT Games and Deep Silver Inc. announced the worldwide release of Clashtag earlier today.
Since the start in 2014 ISBIT GAMES has focused on developing games for the consumer market, and Clashtag is the first in a series of own gaming titles to be released. As previously communicated, the launch is in collaboration with Deep Silver FISHLABS, ISBIT GAMES’ partner for publishing and marketing the game apps.

Clashtag uses hashtags from Instagram for playful duels between friends or random contenders trying to beat each other in a series of addictive mini games such as “Puzzle“, “Fill The Gap“ or “Most Likes. Thus, no two game rounds are the same and there is no shortage of change and variation – with its unique approach Clashtag adds a sportive complexion to the exploration and experiencing of Instagram’s inspiring photo scape.

Gain followers

To further personalize their gaming experiences, players can also upload their own images and define the hashtags defining the motifs of the individual game rounds.

In addition, the app’s players can like the images they have played with and follow the Instagrammers they have challenged. In this way, committed Instagrammers can use Clashtag to boost their profiles and gain followers and likes as a direct result of the game sessions they have played. On top of this, an integrated chat function inspires lively discussions before and after the challenges.

Clashtag is already available as a free download in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland via App Store and Google Play. The worldwide release on both platforms is scheduled for late summer 2015.

As has been communicated earlier, ISBIT GAMES and Deep Silver FISHLABS signed a publishing agreement in February 2015. Under the agreement, ISBIT GAMES will be compensated for the

development of the games and the two companies will subsequently share revenue from initial sales, in-app purchases and sales of ad placements.
